Hykeham Wholesale is a bicycle accessory Wholesaler and Wheel manufacturer. Established over 25 years ago, it has been supplying Independent Bicycle Dealers up and down the country with low cost, high quality goods of all descriptions. In 2002 the founder of the company wanted to retire and so with the help of the bank, the company was bought out by the existing management team. This team has strived to carry on where the old MD left off and carry on supplying IBD's with low priced quality cycle products.

As well as stocking over 2000 different cycle components, Hykeham Wholesale is one of the major wheel manufactures in the country. Currently producing ten's of thousands of wheels a year Hykeham are slowly extending their range of wheels, rims and spokes and are looking foward to the future. In the wheel department hundreds of different wheels can be built from stock item's and many more one offs can be built to order. We can also perform rebuilds for your old wheels or re-rim your hubs.

We stock over 40 different types of rims, 26 types of hub and hundreds of thousand spokes in either galvanised, stainless or black.

Many of the wheels are built on 1 of 2 Holland Mechanics lacing machines making them very consistant, then trued using one of their robot truing machines. Most wheel-builders stop there, but at Hykeham we take it one step further with a personal touch. Every wheel we produce is hand trued so that we know that all our wheels will reach you 'the customer' straight.

As well as the wheel manufacturing side of our business our accessory side is important as well. Components are sourced from all over the world together with local manufactures based in England. Its not just about where the parts are the cheapest but also how they are made. Our suppliers range from large multi-national companies that everyone deals with to the smaller company with the more niche products. It is our aim not to blindly follow the herd of other wholeslaers and sell whatever they sell but to make a decision on each and every product range and discuss ideas and thoughts with our customers, and base decisions on what they think.
