Terms and Conditions

Right to refuse to supply
Hykeham Wholesale Limited retain the right to supply or refuse to supply any person, persons or company with goods.

Retention of Title
All goods remain the property of Hykeham Wholesale Limited until payment has been received by the company in full. We also reserve the right to take back the goods in question should the aforementioned terms not be adhered to or if you cease to trade.

Payment Terms
Settlement discount is 2.5% on all orders received that are less than £150 nett of 10% if the order is over £150 nett. Discount can only be taken if paid with 30 days after the invoice date. If discount is taken after this time then the dealer will be re-invoiced for the balance.

Prices
Prices are subject to change without prior notification. All prices are listed on this website exclusive of VAT.

Deliveries
For all orders delivered by Hykeham Wholesale Ltd vans delivery will be free of charge provided  that the total nett value of the order is over £20. If this is not the case then £3.50+VAT will be charged.

All orders delivered by carrier will be delivered free of charge if the nett value exceeds £75. If this is not exceeded then a surcharge of £9.00 + VAT will be incurred.
Deliveries to addresses within the British Isles but not UK mainland will be surcharged. Call our sales team for a quote.

Damages
It is the dealers responsibility to check that the number of parcels is correct and that they are in satisfactory condition before signing the consigment note. Any problems must be noted on the consigment note. Once the consigment note is signed, goods are accepted as received in good condition and Hykeham Wholesale Ltd cannot accept any claims. To sign the note 'unchecked' is not recognised by the carriers, their insurers or ourselves. Claims for transit damage or short deliveries must also be notified within 6 working days of receiving the goods, responsibility will not be accepted for claims of non delivery or damaged goods after this time.

Returns
Credits will not be given until the goods have been examined and a fault identified by the store manager. There will be a 15% handling charge for any goods returned to Hykeham Wholeslae Ltd that are not faulty or that have been sent out incorrectly.
Any goods that are returned to Hykeham Wholesale Ltd without the relevant invoive number will also be charged 15%
Credits will only be given on goods returned within one year of purchase.

Charges
Customers will be charged £15 + VAT for any unpaid cheques for each and every occurrence.

Consequential Loss
Hykeham Wholesale Ltd does not take any responsibility for losses or damage which may occur due to the non performance of any of the goods supplied.


Password and User IDs
Your user ID and password, should be maintained as confidential and should not be shared with anyone or distributed or disclosed to third parties. It is your responsibility to notify us if you need to change or discontinue the user ID and password and you may do so by contacting by phone, fax or via email. It is also your responsibility to request such discontinuation immediately upon your knowledge or belief that such user ID and/or password is or may be subject to a breach of confidentiality.

You should be aware that non-personal information and data may be automatically collected through the standard operation of our internet servers or through the use of "cookies." Cookies are small text files a Web Site can use to recognize repeat users. We may use cookies to recognize visitors and more quickly provide personalized content or grant you unimpeded access to registered areas of our web site.
